Vitaliy Klitschko: “This year’s Kiev Investment Forum will be dedicated to the smart development of the Kyiv metropolitan area and its creative transformation.”
September 10, 2021 will be an important annual event in the economic life of the capital – Kiev Investment Forum. The event will be dedicated to the smart development of the Kyiv metropolitan area and its creative transformation, said Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
He also noted that Kiev is focusing on transformations that will make the city more technologically advanced, environmentally friendly and resilient to future challenges.
âThe COVID-19 pandemic has been a great challenge for the whole world. The new reality has forced municipal authorities to rethink key areas and promising sectors to unlock the potential of the capital. We see the prospect of smarter development of Kiev and its attractive investment areas – creative industries, information and communication technologies, and pharmaceuticals. These branches of the urban economy should become the basis of the economic and social development of the capital â, noted Vitaliy Klitschko.
This year, representatives of Kyiv city authorities and international experts will meet at the Investment Forum at CEC Parky. They will discuss the urban challenges exacerbated by COVID-19, the international experience of overcoming the economic consequences caused by the pandemic and the development pathways of the capital region.
The forum will include the main session focusing on the new opportunities of attractive industries for investment, as well as four panel discussions: âTools to Attract Investments in Greater Kiev Projectsâ, âClimate Change Adaptation: Rapid Urban Development and Protection of the Environment â,â Keeping the Community Healthier âandâ Creative Transformation: Codes of the New Reality â. The event will continue with a public conference dedicated to attracting investment in the development of the metropolis.
Throughout the forum, Kiev companies will also show investors the potential of the capital region in the areas of health, food industry, production of consumer goods, logistics, high technology, public administration, entertainment industry, as well as chemical and FMCG industries.
