Gebr Heinemann and BF&GH Travel Retail this week marked the 11e anniversary of their partnership in Ukraine, a year after the planned tenth anniversary celebration was postponed due to COVID-19. Our image on this page (via Gebr Heinemann on LinkedIn) shows the top management of both companies at a special event in Kiev.

The joint venture partners operate retail stores at Kiev’s Boryspil and Zhuliany airports, as well as 13 border stores in Ukraine.

Gebr Heinemann CEO Max Heinemann said: “Ukraine is an important market for Gebr Heinemann and we are proud of our operations here. We will continue to invest in our current infrastructure, starting with a few stores at Boryspil Airport in 2022, and continue to expand the business.

The companies opened their first stores at Kiev Boryspil Airport in December 2010, as reported.
